When chemical dependence strikes it's like an unstoppable train unless inpatient alcohol treatment is found. Chemical dependence isn't something anyone ever plans on so when it happens it's usually not known by the addict until it's already a full blown addiction. Inpatient alcohol treatment can solve the addiction for the individual as long as help is gotten before it's to late.
My life before addiction was a happy one and when I found myself abusing drugs I didn't know where to turn. What would my family think of me? I was scared to tell them I had a problem and that I needed rehabs.
